The companies in question made a profit of 8 trillion 403 billion 850 million yuan in all of 2022. Thus, the industrial sector reached last year's total in the first 8 months of this year.

According to data released by the China Statistics Administration, the profits of industrial companies with annual revenues of more than 20 million yuan (about 2 million 770 thousand dollars) in the country in August increased by 17.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
